Aubrey is an honest, hard-working, and loving dog. He follows any rules laid out for him, and knows what is expected of him. He loves with his whole heart and wants anyone and everyone to be his friend. He listens to every instruction and is a “soft” dog when it comes to corrections. He is very very food motivated and mildly toy motivated (mostly loves to chase toys like flirt toys etc, and fetch, isn't really a ‘tug’ player). He is a calm defender, and will bark should someone come to the home, but he is a gentle giant and will calm quickly when asked. He is owner focused and will disregard others should his people be around. He is a joy to have in the home, and has an amazing off switch. He is calm and easily managed even when we have females in season in the home as well. He is my full time Service dog and has been trained in cardiac alert and response (scent detection), mobility tasks, and balance. He has been a therapy dog at our local children's hospital heart camp, and loves to see all the kids! Overall Aubrey is a medium energy, medium toy drive, high food drive, with an amazing off switch.
