Whether you're looking for a well-bred Australian Shepherd puppy, a freezer full of pasture-raised pork or chicken, or a whole lamb share — Queen City Farm serves Virginia families across the state.
Pasture-Raised Pork
Pasture-raised pork — our hogs root and forage in wooded paddocks, raised without routine antibiotics or hormones. Whole and half hog shares with all-in pricing, available with farm pickup for Virginia families willing to make the drive.
Pasture-Raised Chicken
Pasture-raised chicken — birds rotate on fresh grass in mobile shelters, raised without routine antibiotics or hormones. Whole birds and chicken shares available — reach out for current availability.
Pasture-Raised Lamb
Grass-finished, rotationally grazed lamb — mild, clean, and beautifully butchered. Whole and half lamb shares with all-in pricing, plus optional organ meat and soup bones for raw-feeding Virginia dog owners.

Every hog, chicken, and lamb is raised without routine antibiotics or hormones, processed at a small USDA-inspected facility, and traceable back to the paddock it came from.

Common Questions From Virginia Families
Are you an Australian Shepherd breeder serving Virginia?
Yes. Queen City Farm is based in Falmouth, Kentucky — just south of Cincinnati — and we work with Virginia families across the state, including Roanoke and southwest Virginia metros.
How far is the farm from major Virginia cities?
Roanoke is about 5 hours (roughly 330 miles) via I-64 East and I-81. Northern Virginia and Richmond are longer drives — typically 7 to 8 hours — and most families in those areas turn pickup into an overnight or weekend trip.
Do you have Australian Shepherd puppies for sale in Virginia?
Yes — we place puppies with Virginia families from every litter. The best way to see what's available now or coming up is our available puppies page.
Do you ship puppies to Virginia?
No. Every puppy is met by their family in person at the farm — pickup day is an important part of how we transition puppies into their new homes.
What about "mini" or "toy" Australian Shepherds — do you breed those?
No. Those are marketing labels, not real breeds. The only AKC-recognized smaller breed in the Aussie family is the Miniature American Shepherd, which is a separate breed entirely. We breed AKC-registered Australian Shepherds.
Can Virginia families visit the farm before applying?
