Queen City Farm is a 50-acre working farm in Falmouth, Kentucky — Pendleton County. We're a Kentucky-based, health-testing Australian Shepherd breeder placing puppies with families across the Commonwealth, from Northern Kentucky to Louisville and beyond.
Whether it's a puppy being raised inside our home or a hog rooting through our forest paddock, every animal at Queen City Farm is raised with welfare, transparency, and respect. Low-stress handling, no shortcuts — and you can come see it for yourself.
What We Do
Whether you're looking for a well-bred Australian Shepherd puppy, a freezer full of pasture-raised pork or chicken, or a whole lamb share — Queen City Farm serves Kentucky families across the Commonwealth.
Health-tested, well-socialized, AKC-registered Australian Shepherds — OFA hips and elbows, CAER eye-certified by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist, and full genetic panels through Embark and UC Davis. Kentucky families have been part of our placements from the start.
Pasture-raised pork — our hogs root and forage in wooded paddocks, raised without routine antibiotics or hormones. Whole and half hog shares with all-in pricing (processing, smoking, and packaging included), with farm pickup, farmers market pickup, or Heritage-tier home delivery for nearby Kentucky families.
Pasture-raised chicken — birds rotate on fresh grass in mobile shelters, raised without routine antibiotics or hormones. Whole birds and chicken shares available for Kentucky families — reach out for current availability.
Grass-finished, rotationally grazed lamb — mild, clean, and beautifully butchered. Whole and half lamb shares with all-in pricing, plus optional organ meat and soup bones for raw-feeding Kentucky dog owners.

Every Australian Shepherd in our breeding program is OFA-tested for hips and elbows, CAER eye certified by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist, and DNA paneled through Embark and UC Davis. Every hog and lamb is raised without routine antibiotics or hormones, processed at a small USDA-inspected facility, and traceable back to the paddock it came from. Health and honesty aren't optional here.

We are not a regional breeder serving Kentucky from elsewhere — Queen City Farm is in Pendleton County. Our dogs grow up here, on Kentucky soil, around Kentucky weather, livestock, and life.

Our dogs earn UKC and AKC conformation titles, FastCAT, trick dog, and basic obedience credentials. Structure and temperament — not just looks.

Yes. Queen City Farm is based in Falmouth, Kentucky — Pendleton County, in Northern Kentucky's rolling-hills region — and we place puppies with families all across the Commonwealth, from the Northern Kentucky metro to Lexington, Louisville, Frankfort, and beyond.
We are 30 to 50 minutes from the Northern Kentucky metro (Florence, Covington, Newport, Independence), about 1.5 hours from Lexington and Frankfort, and about 2 hours from Louisville. Bowling Green, Owensboro, and Paducah families are a longer drive but well within a one-day round trip for pickup.
Yes — we place puppies with Kentucky families from every litter. The best way to see what's available now or coming up is our available puppies page. We breed a small number of carefully planned litters per year, so families typically apply ahead of time and reserve a spot for an upcoming litter.
No. Every puppy is met by their family in person at the farm. For most Kentucky families the drive is short enough that pickup is straightforward — and pickup day is an important part of how we transition puppies into their new homes.
Yes. We welcome serious buyers to come walk the farm, meet our dogs, and see how puppies are raised. Reach out through our contact form to schedule a visit, or follow us on social for occasional open farm days.
No. Those are marketing labels, not real breeds. The only AKC-recognized smaller breed in the Aussie family is the Miniature American Shepherd, which is a separate breed entirely. We breed AKC-registered Australian Shepherds.
Because the breeder you choose shapes the dog you live with for the next 12 plus years. Full health testing, titled parents, on-farm socialization, and a written lifetime return-to-breeder contract are not standard everywhere. Many of our Kentucky families say they wish they had come to us first.
