Brown the sausage, breaking it up; drain.
Grease a 9x13 dish and layer the bread, sausage, and cheese.
Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper and pour over the top. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour (or overnight).
Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes, until set and golden.
